Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to Capitan High School, home of the Mighty Fighting Tigers. It’s an honor to be the principal of the best high school in Lincoln County. I graduated from Capitan High School in 1986, starting in preschool and proudly wearing orange and black throughout my school years.

Capitan High School is dedicated to holding every student to high expectations, promoting active student engagement, and ensuring accountability. Our focus is on providing instruction tailored to the specialized skills and content needed to master grade-level material, while providing the tools necessary for students to grasp concepts. Together with our dedicated staff, we aim to build connections with students to help them feel valued, accepted, and safe.

I encourage all parents to join our newly established PTO (parent-teacher organization) and our Capitan Booster Club. With your support, our staff and students can have unique events and opportunities.
