Academic Programs

We are pleased to offer career-oriented, academic tracks in addition to our traditional curriculum. We believe it is important to open minds by educating our students about the many opportunities available to them.

Dual Credit

Through partnerships with ENMU Ruidoso Community College and Mesa Lands Community College, we are able to offer our students courses for dual credit. These courses will simultaneously earn both college credit and elective high school credit. We require that students take these courses for enrichment. We will not consider remedial or developmental courses for dual credit status. For more information about this program, please contact our school counselor, Mrs. Theresa Kennedy.

CNA

The CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) program is part of our dual credit program.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is generally a term used for paraprofessionals who give bedside care to patients, do basic nursing procedures, and assist patients in their activities of daily living. Please find out more about the duties and responsibilities of a CNA.

Culinary Arts

New Mexico is famous for its southwestern cuisine and is home to chefs of world-wide fame. As part of our dual credit program, we offer our students the opportunity to participate in a program designed to teach them the skills of the culinary masters and open their eyes (or mouths!) to the exciting flavors of the world. Find out more about the responsibilities of chefs.
